We have a team of experienced nurses, led by a Nurse Manager who hold their own surgeries and have special expertise in many ares such as asthma, contraception, COPD, diabetes, health promotion, heart disease, hypertension, INR monitoring, smoking and stroke. They also carry out immunisations, dressings and suture removal. Four of our nurses are trained minor illness nurses who are able to treat patients with acute problems such as skin rashes, hay fever, sore throats, earache, thrush etc. Our healthcare assistant works closely with our practice nursing team and assists with a range of practice nurse duties, including BP checks, weight monitoring, NHS health checks, new patient checks, INR monitoring, and long term conditions monitoring.
